Description
The bushing is a matching part used outside the mechanical parts to
achieve the functions of sealing, wear protection, etc. It refers
to the ring sleeve that functions as a gasket. In the field of
valve applications, the bushing is inside the valve cover, and
corrosion-resistant materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene or
graphite are generally used for sealing.
Bushings are used in: packaging machinery, textile machinery,
mining machinery, metallurgical machinery, printing machinery,
tobacco machinery, forging machinery, various types of machine
tools and interchangeable mechanical transmission connections.
According to the types of added alloying elements, copper alloys
can be divided into three categories: brass, bronze and
cupronickel. Brass is a copper alloy with zinc as the main alloying
element; cupronickel is a copper alloy with nickel as the main
alloying element; bronze is other copper alloys except brass and
cupronickel.
Some brass, bronze, and cupronickel are widely used to make
automotive radiators, heat exchangers, and components of various
industrial devices that need to conduct heat quickly through or
along metal. Brass, some bronzes and cupronickel are used in
conveying gas and liquid systems such as condensers, pipes and
valves that require corrosion resistance. Special copper alloys,
such as copper brazing filler metals, are used for brazing metals,
superplastic copper alloys are made into various devices by
superplastic forming, and functional copper alloys are used to make
coins, ornaments, musical instruments, etc. In addition, various
copper alloys are also indispensable materials in the machinery
industry, which are used to process various mechanical parts such
as springs, fasteners, and pads.
